In an effort to improve and strengthen our assessment methodologies and our classroom delivery, fourteen (14) fulltime, adjunct lecturers and facilitators joined in three (3) days of online training in August 2024. Conducted by Mrs. Michelle Stewart-McKoy, Faculty/Educational Developer at the Centre for Excellence in Teaching & Learning (CETL), at the University of the West Indies, Mona Campus

This training exercise is part of the Department’s thrust to improve our online classroom (Zoomroom) delivery, infuse creativity in our assessments (why write an essay when you can create or design an activity?), and vibrancy in our classroom experience.

We anticipate our students in all our programmes and courses will have improved classes and diversified assessments to make their learning experiences fun and energetic.
